JOB OPPORTUNITIES
Job Title: Systems Analyst
Job Description: Collect customer system requirements utilizing use cases, UML, and Rational Requisite Pro, design, build, and test systems using Rational Unified Process (RUP) Methodology on the IBM PC Platform using .Net, ASP, Visual Studio and relational databases like Oracle, SQL Server and DB2; define complex client processes, analyze workflow, perform gap analysis; configure, maintain and support complex systems using Rational Clearcase and Rational Quest; Create and control project plans in MS Project including goals, deadlines, testing, implementation, changes, upgrades and post live support of systems. Analyze change requests and set customer expectations. Prepare management reports; Manage the work of junior analysts; assign tasks, track status updates, set team goals, ensure the achievement of project milestones, resolve conflicts, train and mentor team members. Train end users. Work with IT and business partners across geographies to create a support system and procedures to ensure ongoing support that meets service level agreements. Define quality assurance processes, create test cases and test scripts using tools such as Load Runner and JIRA; track requirements to test cases using Traceability Matrix. Assist the sales team in analyzing and responding to Client RFPs including estimating the team size and duration of the project. Must be willing to work at multiple client sites in the Contra Costa County area.
Minimum Qualifications:MS in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, MIS, or a related field and 3 years of experience; employer will alternatively accept BS in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, MIS, or a related field and 5 years of experience.
